Vortex Diamondback 8x or 10x,

The Vortex Diamondback is one of
our all-time favorites for a quality binocular at a reasonable
price. Both Diamondback models feature an advanced roof prism
optical design that incorporates high-density BaK-4 glass. The roof
prisms feature phase-correction coatings and all lenses are fully
multi-coated with anti-reflective compounds for maximum light
transmission, and the coatings have been
greatly enhanced.
Both Diamondback models offer generously wide fields of view to aid
in finding and following fast-moving wildlife; the 8x sports an
amazing 420’ @ 1,000 yards and the 10x possesses a 345’ field @
1,000 yards. Both Diamondback models offer ample eye relief (a full
18mm in the 8x, the 10x has 16mm) and include tapered rubber
twist-up/twist-down eyecups to deliver a comfortable image to all
users.
Built with a dedication to ruggedness, both Diamondbacks incorporate
durable alloy housings and are covered in shock-absorbing rubber
armor. The exterior armoring offers an ergonomic shape and is easily
graspable regardless of the weather. Both Diamondback models are
O-ring sealed and argon-purged to make them dustproof, waterproof
and fogproof. The Diamondbacks maintain an easy weight of 24 to 25
ounces! The large center focus wheel allows the user to achieve
quick, precise focus, even when wearing gloves.
