Adjustable Spreading Board
This board has the same basic sizing, materials, and construction as the
standard spreading board (below), but the groove is adjustable, allowing for
larger-bodied insects. Sliding brackets with thumb screws allow for a groove

Standard
Spreading Board
A moderately priced mounting board for students and
beginners. Basswood pinning surfaces are 2" wide (each side), angled at 165
degrees. Pinning surfaces are attached to ½" composition board which also
functions as pinning groove bottom. Groove is ¼" wide. Total length of
board 12".
