Taylor Pocket Sling Psychrometer
This field instrument is a handy way to determine
relative humidity. Simply slide the thermometer unit out of the sturdy
plastic case and attach it to the metal post. Wet the "sock" on
the wet bulb, and swing the thermometers rapidly. The "wet" bulb
will decrease in temperature due to evaporation. When it has stopped
decreasing, slide the thermometers back into the case, and read the graphic
displayed on the back to determine relative humidity. Case with unit
enclosed is approximately 7 x 1¾ inches.MS-004-038
