Pinning Block
Collectors use this block in the pinning process for
the purpose of placing labels and specimens at the same vertical level on each
pin to make collections uniform in appearance. Place
the label or insect on the pin and then push the pin into the hole in one of the three block
levels until it stops. This traditional, three-step style pinning block is
made of hardwood, with pin holes set at 23mm, 12mm, and 7mm. Dimensions
