Carson's Magniscope is one of the most unusual and useful
magnifying instruments ever offered. Two components combine to create
three different optical devices. The heart of the Magniscope is a
palm-sized, 8x, 20mm ultra-miniature, precision monocular with a 288-foot field
of view and adjustable focus from 6 feet to infinity. Its companion piece
is a 3x stand magnifier with adjustable focus and a transparent acrylic base
that allows ambient light to fully illuminate the subject being viewed.
Thread them together and they become a 30x portable microscope. Monocular, loupe or simple microscope...the choice is yours!
