USGS Regional Raised Relief Maps are a
superior visual reference. Fully three-dimensional, these rigid vinyl
maps use shaded relief to represent altitude gradation and topographic
diversity.
Regional relief maps have a scale
of 1:250,000. At this scale you will be able to find cities, towns and
roads. Lakes, streams and rivers will be visible. You will not generally
be able to distinguish local streets within towns, but major roads
through a town will be shown.
