Enamel Finish Insect Pins
Our enamel-coated black insect pins provide a good
quality pin at a substantially lower cost than other European brands.
They are very similar to Austrian pins, manufactured from spring steel, with
nylon heads, and finished black enamel for anti-rust protection. Made
in Czechoslovakia. Length of 000-6 sizes is 38mm. Length of size 7
is 50mm. 100 pins per pack. If you are a beginner, sizes
2, 3, or 4 will accommodate the majority of your specimens. See
below for economically priced Asta pins, for short-term
projects.

Asta
Insect Pins
This utility grade insect pin is manufactured in
England and are recommended for short-term use only. Asta pins provide an inexpensive, alternative to the traditional continental
variety. Asta pins are made of high carbon tempered spring steel wire with black
japanned finish. They have upset heads (integral part of the shaft)
and fine ground points. Length is 38mm. Available in size 4 (0.55mm diameter). 100 pins to a pack.
