Morning Bird Walks

Jackson Park, Hendersonville, NC
Join owners of The Compleat Naturalist, Hal and Laura
Mahan, for a free morning bird walk. If you are a
beginning bird watcher, or if you would like to get started
identifying birds by their songs, join us! Bring binoculars
and field guide if you have them. FREE. Please call us
at 274-5430 if you plan to come.
Directions: This will be the peak of spring
bird migration. Hendersonville's Jackson Park is an excellent
birding location because of its variety of habitats. To access
the park from Four Seasons Blvd., turn on Harris St. at the sign for
Jackson Park. When Harris St. dead ends, turn left into the
Park. We'll meet at the dirt parking area on the right after
the speed bump.
