Bird Songs of the Smokies
Fred J. Alsop, III, Mark Dunaway, Marci Dunaway

This unique set of two CDs features the songs of 67 of the Smokies' most common birds.  Each song is followed by narration about how to find the bird and descriptions of some of its habits.  Each species is on its own numbered track for quick reference on your computer, CD player, or other device.  In addition, bonus tracks have been added for your listening pleasure.  Track 1 begins with a bird chorus recorded during an early morning thunderstorm along Rich Mountain Road.  The final tracks capture the dawn choruses of numerous bird species recorded at various locations in the national park.  Included with the set is a 10-page booklet describing each track and information about how these miraculous recordings were made.  Includes over two hours of bird songs and narration.  This CD set is useful for any birder, not only in the Smokies, but the entire Southern Appalachian region.
