Present an Event

Do you have a book or nature program you would like to present?  We are constantly seeking authors, artists, naturalists, and teachers who wish to reach new audiences, and we are adding programs to our schedule of events on a continuing basis.  If we feel that your book or event would be appropriate for our audience, we will promote it via our store email newsletter, social media, local event calendars, and our website.  If you are interested, please contact store owner, Laura Mahan,  We appreciate your interest!

**A portion of our class fees goes to support the non-profit group Discover Life in America (www.dlia.org), which overseas the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Book Party & Open House

Join us on this special evening to celebrate the publication of the first children's book, The Cow That Meowed, by Compleat Naturalist owner, Dr. Hal Mahan.  We will be joined by the illustrator, Asheville artist Susan Peterson.  It will be a fun, free evening for kids of all ages!  Light refreshments will be provided.  Please RSVP to:  info@compleatnaturalist.com, or call us at 828-274-5430.
